Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : RPO Rawalpindi Imran Ahmar said that best facilities would be provided to the citizens at the police station level and timely registration of cases would be ensured in all cases. We have the honor of the department and the dignity of the department will be given priority in all cases. He said this while presiding over a high level meeting at Police Lines Headquarters. CPO Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari, SSP Investigation Ghazanfar Ali Shah, SSP Operations Wasim Riaz Khan, Divisional SPs and others were also present in the meeting. The RPO said that the policy of ensuring prompt response to issues related to women, children and minorities and rewards for good deeds and punishment for bad deeds would be fully implemented. The RPO directed SHOs in their offices from 04 to 06 pm to listen to the concerns of the citizens and conduct timely challan and investigation on the merits of the cases. He even said that there would be zero tolerance on the backing of corrupt and criminal elements. Imran Ahmar instructs Divisional SPs to hold crime meetings and formulate and implement integrated crime prevention strategy.
