Lahore,(Parliament Times): Shahid Farid, Managing Director, Punjab Journalists Housing Foundation, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Khanewal, where he has assumed the charge of his new responsibilities. He has also served as Additional Secretary in the Community Development Department. Director Administration LDA, Deputy Secretary Higher Education Department.
Mr Shahid Farid is considered to be one of the most talented, intelligent and experienced officers who, due to his administrative skills, rendered excellent services as Managing Director, Punjab Journalists Housing Foundation. Social circles od Khanewal have welcomed the appointment of Shahid Farid as Deputy Commissioner Khanewal and assured him of their fullest cooperation and hoped that he would work for the betterment and welfare of the people as per the priorities of the Punjab Government by ensuring effective implementation of Public Welfare Oriented Initiatives and development programs.
