Islamabad,(Parliament Times): – EMPRA team won inter-media football cup season two under the auspices of Kashmir Media Sports Committee. In the final match, the EMPRA team defeated the Daily Jannat Nazeer team on penalty kicks. On-time, the match ended in a draw. However, on penalty kicks, team EMPRA scored two of the three goals while team Daily Jannat Nazeer could only score one goal. Jannat Nazeer took the lead with one goal in the first half which lasted almost till the end but just minutes before the end of the match, Hamza Shaukat equalized the match by scoring a goal for EMPRA. Later the match decision was made on penalty kicks which were won by the  EMPRA team.
Former President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Afzal Butt was the special guest at the final match. The Kashmir Media Sports Committee also organized a match between the teams of children of journalists.
This floodlight football tournament had teams of journalists from Kashmiri newspapers (occupied Kashmir, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan) electronic media, the National Press Club and Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ). The event was organised in collaboration with Dubai-based Kashmiri businessman Sajid Iqbal Abbasi’s company Fly Hawks. The tournament was held under the supervision of senior Kashmiri journalists Shehzad Ahmed Rathore, Ejaz Khan, Saqib Rathore and Sardar Junaid Zafar.
