DHO Muzaffarabad , (Parliament Times) :Programme Managers/representatives from health department AJK, Media personals , Print media and Electronics Media Association and other partner organizations all across division Muzaffarabad attended the event.
In the Programme DHO Muzaffarabad Dr. Muhammad Sayeed Awan throughly brief media personals and journalists about the importance of immunization and its impacts on our society . He said “Although vaccines have been around for centuries, there are still major challenges getting these lifesaving tools to the people who need them the most. This World Immunization Week is the moment to get essential immunization back on track and offer the chance of a long life for all in Division Muzaffarabad.
He further said that A Long Life For All is not a promise, it’s an ambition. Because everyone deserves a chance at a fulfilling life.? Countless lives have been saved since the first modern vaccine was invented 220 years ago.
The Programme included talks on Significance of World Immunization Week 2022, Mr. DHO also said Vaccines accompany us through different stages of our lives and protect against:

Diphtheria,Ebola,Hep B,
HPV,Influenza,Japanese encephalitis,Malaria,Measles,Meningitis,Mumps,
Pertussis,Pneumonia,
Polio,Rabies,Rotavirus,
Rubella,Tetanus,Typhoid,
Varicella,Yellow Fever,
In the end he said We always want to protect those we love, And vaccines help us do exactly that, whether it’s from polio or COVID-19. He pay tribute to all the health workers ,who work day and night for EPI Muzaffarabad in Immunization of masses and achieves 90 percent target.
