Naseebullah Khan
The story started from March 7 when a letter was written as a cable by Pakistani ambassador in America Mr. Majeed Khan envisaging that Mr. Donald lu the assistant secretary of state who conveyed him that Pakistan_US relations can not mended untill and unless the incumbent government is toppled. Owing to this, the Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan termes it a conspiracy against his government and termed the whole opposition parties and their MNA,s part of the conspiracy and traitor. Before alleging vote of no confidence as a foreign conspiracy it is pertinent to shed light on some questions. 1. The NSC meeting which was called on the said subject does not talk of it as conspiracy rather criticized the language of the letter. As per the report of Express Tribune, military found no foreign conspiracy in it and that the establishment had asked prime minister in the NSC to give proofs so that they will carry on but Imran Khan failed to do so. Tue irony is that the minutes of the NSC meeting were not taken. This reflects a mala file intent on the part of the government. 2. The US has rejected these allegations in reponse the government of Imran Khan is reticent. 3. The foreign office of Pakistan is silent over the authenticiry of this lettergate. 4. When Foregin Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was asked about this conspiracy that will he now say America Muradabad he replied that i was a reponsible person. 5. At a time when the PTI was in power, why did it not investigate? Why did it not present in the Parliament and Supreme court as it was a mayeer of state interests rather than an issue of an individual? Now as the case of seputy speaker,s rolling is in supreme court why the government not present the letter as an evidence? If Bill was to be rejected then it ahould have been rejected when the bill was moved. 6.the government was silent over the letter issue from 7 to 27 March. The question is why the opposition was allowed to pr3sent the resolution of no trust on 27 March? Isnt, it that when the government felt that its allies have left it and that the success of no trsut motion is evident, it the deputy speaker adjourned the meeting in an abrupt way. 7. The situation resulted in more suspicious that why Imran Khan abruptly dissolved assembly and his own government? And at the same time within a span of 24 hours the president nominated Imran Khan to carry on as president for 14 days who again with in a short of span of hours then sughested the name of justice Gulzar Ahmed for the new care taker prime minister and asked the opposition leader (Whom along with sll opposition parties Imran Called as traitor) to suggest his nominee for caretaker Prime minister 8. The past of Imran Khan does not support its claim and anti American rhetoric as he himself has been the admiror and supporter of US especially in war of terrorism. He was against the expulsion of French ambassador time ago when a the TTP demanded the expulsion. In response Imran Khan had rejected the demand and said that our relations with European union were pivotal. 9. The main point is as why the US will want Imran Khan,s ouster? What fears does the US have from him? If Imran Khan makes ground that his visit of Russia made the US annoy, it does not make sense. The planning of vote of no confidence had started long before the IK visit to Russia. 10. On April 5, the Russian foreign office issued a statement favoring Imran Khan that the USA is behind the plan. Isnt it interference in country’s internal affairs? And that why Imran Khan is reticent over this? The tailpiece is that, Imran Khanfailed to show majority in the parliament on the day of no confidence motion where 197 members in total of 342 were agaisnt him. When he felt his success is not certain he did not want to be defeates in the parliament owing to his own egoism and psychopathic mindset. His dissolution of assemblies justifies the hypothesis that he is making a new narrative of anti America for the next elections so that to attract the voters on this rhetoric.
