Since the inception of Pakistan, people have been victimized by dictators; imposing martial laws and decades of military rules. Corruption and lack of good governance are major reasons for what we are experiencing in today’s Pakistan. The reason for the fragile economy of Pakistan is political instability as it goes beyond saying that politics and economy go hand in hand. Unfortunately, the cost of blunders on the part of politicians is paid by the nation in terms of substandard education system, heightening health issues, unease of doing business and stagnant advancement in technology. The status quo of politics of Pakistan has taken a serious turn which is a matter of deep concern for the masses. The people have already been confronting numerous challenges since the ruling party came into power, such as high inflation, weakening rupee against the green-back, oil price hike, swelling circular debt and so on. On the other hand, political parties are engaged in long-March and political jalsas that harsh way of doing politics causes more troubles for the people and ultimately Pakistan suffers. This sabotaging situation of politics not only deters foreign direct investment (FDI) but also hampering domestic business in Pakistan and the prevailing political turmoil leads to a ripple effect on many industries that is inducing economic slow down too. Therefore, this pathetic and outlandish politics of blocking roads, uttering derogatory words for each other and creating economic woe must be halted for the larger interests of Pakistan.
