Muzaffarabad(Parliament Times): Kashmir Solidarity day was observed with full zest and zeal throughout the country to express unflinching support of Pakistani people for Kashmiri people. A rally was held in the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir. Large number of people gathered at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk held banners and placards on which demands for right to self-determination of Kashmir were stated.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that Kashmiri people are suffering oppression and barbarism of India.He said that millions of Pakistani people and Kashmiri around the globe have expressed their solidarity to the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. “Kashmiri people under Indian occupation are demanding freedom, right to self-determination for their secure future”, Ghazali maintained. He reiterated that India will return from Kashmir bagged with all of her nefarious conspiracies from IIOJ&K.
Ghazali expressed that people of Pakistan always stood for Kashmir cause and every year they reaffirm their support to remind the world conscience to fulfill their responsibility on Kashmir issue. He lauded that people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir including Gilgit Baltistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their brethren in IIOJ&K. He demanded the United Nations to fulfill her promise made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and implement its resolutions on the longest pending dispute in South Asia. PPP leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Usman Ali Hashim, Javed Ahmed Mughal, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Sardar Hanif Rizwan and others were also present on the occasion.
