Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Jammu and Kashmir president and the most senior minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that Indian Minister Kapil Patel’s threat to occupy Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan by 2024 was nothing but madness. The statement of the Indian Minister in his parliament is an indication of the tendency of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to escalate regional tensions which is based on enmity with Pakistan. The people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir will not be intimidated by this.
Azad Kashmir’s most senior government minister said that such statements were aimed at systematic violation of human rights in occupied Kashmir, measures against minorities and diverting global attention from Indian state terrorism. Condemning the threat, he said that the unnecessary statement of the Indian Minister showed that he had completely failed to suppress the spirit of Hurriyat of Kashmiris in spite of cruel tactics in occupied Kashmir.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that India had no choice but to give Kashmiris the right of the self determination. He further said that the entire Kashmiri nation was behind Pakistam Army.
