ISLAMABAD  : Federal government has sought time from Supreme Court (SC) for filing the reply duly signed by the Prime Minister (PM) in Army Public School (APS) tragedy case.

The court has been requested through an application filed by Additional Attorney General (AAG) that 3 weeks time be given to file reply duly signed by PM in APS Peshawar case.

It has been said in the application the anniversary of martyrs of APS Peshawar tragedy falls on December 16. PM Imran Khan has set up a cabinet committee to hold meeting with the parents of martyrs of APS tragedy. It will be appropriate let the result of meeting come out.

The application said the court is requested time be given to file the reply so that a comprehensive implementation report could be presented before the court.

It is to mention that the SC during its hearing of the case on November 10, 2021 had ordered to file reply from PM Imran Khan duly signed by him within four weeks.
