Rawalpindi,(Parliament Times) : The founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and eminent scholar of Islamic world Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri condemned the Sialkot incident. It is said that the Sialkot incident damaged the peaceful identity of Islam and Pakistan. Meanwhile, Nazim-e-Ala of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has demanded that those responsible be given exemplary punishment through speedy justice system instead of the traditional method. According to a statement issued by Minhaj Media Cell, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the state should take serious steps to eradicate violent attitudes. Minhaj-ul-Quran’s struggle is against extremism and narrow-mindedness.
Addressing a meeting of the Central Working Council, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the people and state of Sri Lanka stood by Pakistan in every hour of need. The people of Sri Lanka are in great distress and anxiety over the Sialkot incident. The government of Pakistan should feel the pain of the people of Sri Lanka and take immediate action to alleviate it.
