ISLAMABAD: 6 people died and 216 tested positive due to coronavirus during last 24 hours in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 33453 tests were conducted of which 216 returned positive taking the number of positive cases to 1,280,092.
As per province wise details 473,250 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 441,965 in Punjab 179,190 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 107,364 in Islamabad, 34,514 in Azad Kashmir 33,408 in Balochistan and 10,401 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
With the current 6 deaths the tally of fatalities has surged to 28618.
As per NCOC data 12,980 fatalities due to the epidemic have taken place in Punjab, 7,604 in Sindh 5,801 in KP, 948 in Islamabad, 741 in Azad Kashmir, 358 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.
1,228,848 patients have recovered in the country while 1,101 patients are said to be in critical condition.
119,035,991 with 702,631 in the last 24 hours doses have been administered so far in the country.
