Malir (Our Correspondent): Habitants of Pub Malir village Muhammad Ramzan Jokhio, Shah Nawaz Jokhio and Khalid Jokhio bursted out against land mafia in press conference at Awami Press Club Malir and revealed that Gadop has become heaven for land grabbers where land grabbers have grabbed lands of government wih the assistance of police.
They told about their village and said that it exits before the creation of Pakistan and consists on 600 house in which thousands of people are living but unfortunately local influential person Abdul Ghafoor Jokhio has become land mafia and started selling government land and settling Afghanies with the good support of SHO Notak Baloch after seizing land also struggling to encroach their village.
They revealed that said powerful land grabber has occupied on 300 acres of government land and sold plots to Afghanies and now he is intriguing to take over 44 acres of their Pub Malir village land with the aid of police.
Muhammad Ramzan Jokhio blamed that mentioned land grabber got registered many litigations against him and his brother at PS Gadop taking reprisals steps. He further told that he complained to community chief MNA Abdul Kareem Jokhio and other respectable people and showed them testimonials of their village land then they called a sitting to settle matter but land grabber Abdul Ghafoor Jokhio declined to accept decision.
He blamed that said land grabber is also occupying to sell out 100 acres of Gadop hospital.
Pub Malir villagers demanded from Chief Minister Sindh, IG Sindh, SSP Malir and other relevant officers to secure their village from occupancy of land grabber and take action against said land mafia and his supporter SHO PS Gadop.
