After the partition of the subcontinent in 1947, the Indian leadership laid down the rules for running the government and declared that India would be a secular state without any distinct identity as many communities have lived there for centuries. The prominent communities are Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Parsis. . Therefore, they considered it a better solution to resolve disputes between these communities. But with the passage of time in recent decades, the Indian government and other Hindu extremist parties have a strong desire to become a Hindu Raj in India. Since millions of Muslims and other communities are living their lives, they are not protecting their rights, even Hindu extremists are planning to become a Hindu-majority state by killing Muslims, Sikhs and other minorities. So that the population of these minorities can be reduced and they can dominate the Hindu religion by winning more seats in the public sector. An important proof of Hindu nationalism is the incident that took place in Kashmir in October 2019. The Indian government led by Narendra Modi repealed Article 370 of the Indian Constitution. The purpose of Article 370 was a temporary provision which gave special status to the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Accordingly, Jammu and Kashmir was allowed a degree of autonomy. Jammu and Kashmir was allowed to have its own constitution, its own laws and its own flag. However, the Government of India will have control over matters such as defense and foreign affairs. Because of this, Indians from other states were not allowed to buy or settle in the state. In addition, if a woman marries a foreign state, she loses her property rights. The Modi government has argued that this is a temporary facility and has been in place for seven decades. He also claimed that the article was discriminatory and an obstacle to development. So after returning for a second term, Modi edited the article. The state of Jammu and Kashmir has now lost its special status. The area is now divided into Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. It has been concluded that on the one hand India considers itself a secular state but on the other hand it promotes Hinduism by depriving minorities of their rights. So that only Hindus are in the government and it is dominated by the Hindu state. Now is the time for India to wake up from a dream that has no reality and take steps to bring peace to the region along with India. The Indian leadership must protect the rights of minorities and consider them citizens of the state.
