Islamabad, (Parliament Times): Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Sardar Sikandar Hayat. In his condolence statement issued to the newspapers yesterday, he said that Sikandar was a good administrator. He performed full services for the construction and development of the State of Jammu and Kashmir and for the awakening of the Kashmir Independence Movement.
He said that today the entire Kashmiri nation is mourning. I share the grief and sorrow with the family of the deceased, may Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the deceased and grant patience to the mourners.
