Malir, (Correspondent): Awami Press Club Malir gave reception to education expert, writer and senior teacher M Zaman Jokhio at Murad Memon village where political, social, writers, journalists, others professionalists and area people participated ceremony in a great number.
Former federal minister and MNA Abdul Hakeem Baloch presided a ceremony and paid tribute to M Zaman Jokhio. Ajrak gifts were offered and wreathed roses.
On that occasion President of Press Club Saami Memon welcomed all participants and said some words in their praise also had brief introduction of Awami Press Club Malir.
On that occasion M Zaman Jokhio addressed ceremony participants that he has spent his 40 years in teaching but Awami Press Club Malir journalists have valued his services and appreciated his efforts so at present he is satisfied that his work was is accepted in society.
He said that education in Malir is worsened due to strong community system where no one is allowed to say words of improvement in education or others fields also it is hard to write any thing against.
He said that education and its correction and transparency is necessary for society about which they have to work sans all differences.
Former MNA Abdul Hakeem Baloch said that politics is adopted to take personal benefits in the biggest and richest district of Karachi Malir where classification has been imposed cause of giving own community whose outcomes will not be in the favor of society.
He further said that school condition needs to be mended for good education according to what Sindh Government has taken right step of appointing teachers on merit which is appreciated. He emphasized on Journalist of APCM to use their pen for betterment of society and its peoples so its result will be fair. He revealed that ratio of corruption is being increased in education department Officers do not be ready work in addition of corruption. He also stressed to call seminar on educational issues.
Writer Hamzo Pahanwar said that today journalism is being used to earn money so he condemned act of selling their pen of justice. He said that elected representatives can not tolerate positive certicism. He said that in Open Kacheri a MPA said claimed that he has got done 90 present of work of his area which is clear evident of his unsuccess.
He futher said that he has been doing journalism for 30 years and his heart has been broken due to today’s journalism. He said that Awami Press Club Malir journalist has respected teaching proffession by giving reception to a teacher on which he appreciates journalists of APCM.
On that occasion Noor Muhammad Badal, Rustam Meerani, Kashif Khaskheli, Qazi Abdul Lateef, Ramzan Memon and others also addressed in the ceremony.
