Education is the preparation of mind, training for living life and practicing of morality. Instead of giving education to the children we are giving away degree to the youth. Every year we pass out students from school, college and the university with degree but they all lack education. We have unemployment in the country because we lack skillful youth. Undoubtedly, the educated youth is better mindful to create opportunities. For instance, our contemporary developed countries like Japan, Germany and china bring out skill youth from universities to create novel invention to provide their people with living with ease and comfort. As today, we witness all the items of daily use in our life are either made by Japan, Germany and china. These countries work out on their youth to be skill and educated to boost the economy of their country and make life of the people to live standard life. We as nation are to play our role as practical educational and learn to practice education as tool of enlightening the life. Education is not a degree but a qualification with practical practice. Morality and ethical values are the main subject matter of education. Our youth unfortunately lack these mainstream topic of education. We being Muslim country must focus on the subjects of study these subjects. Creativity and excellence of standard education with moral values are always supportive to the success and progress of the individual and as whole nation. It is high time to revise the values of our education standards. Instead of teaching the students at educational institute to cram the subject for passing examination for qualifying for degree certificate. We are to teach the students practical learning. The practical subject education is always positive for one to pass life happy and satisfied. We have to learn a lesson from following Bollywood movies that is ‘Slum dog millionaire’ and ‘Three idiots’. While watching those movies we must critical evaluate the story. In the first movie we see the boy Dev Patel who is Jamal Malik raised in extreme poverty in the streets of Bombay. We had no education from school in his entire life but even though he is highly aware and qualified to day to day issues of the society and life. He does not fail to answer the questions asked by Anil kapoor during face to face questionnaire session. He wins the competition with his practical and day to day experiences of life in the society. The slum dog millionaire movie theme is pragmatic to learn that degree certificate is not required for qualification. Education is the qualification to live life with practical experiments. The second movie ‘Three Idiots’ is example of real qualification. The major central character of film is Rancho played by Aamir khan. He is symbolizing real purpose education that it is for becoming practical in life. The other two characters Frahan and Rajo who are directionless and believed to be following of tradition type getting education. They both get degree certificate of college because collage well is known for its best reputation. Though Frahan has an interest in the media science and fond of capturing the best natural images and the Rajo is seeking education with fear remaining in poverty if he fails to achieve the degree certificate. The difference in these three idiot character is clear to the audience. Education is not subject of rot learning and cramming like robot Rancho the believes in essence of education for creation and practical aptitude. He had ideas, inputs and lessons at every step. Be it his belief of need is the mother of every invention to be practical, not theoretical and do what you and not what others want, each one had a deep connection in our day to day lives. No wonder his friends aptly called him Baba Ranchoddas. His other two friends got the motivation after his success as a real education seeker. Education is not a pressure cooker for us. One fears and becomes a robot learner. It is education that is enlightening life. That all shall be possible when one believes that we learn to be practical people in life. One carries degree certificates but it avails no benefits in life. Education is not merely based on qualification. The degree can entitle you to the qualification but real education does not require a degree qualification. One must read the life of successful people like Steve Jobs, Thomas Addison, and William Shakespeare. They were not degree qualified person but they were practical people and attained satisfaction in their life. These were few names to mention history is replete with such people who proved their worth in every field as a practical person and learner of education in its the true definition.
