ISLAMABAD/MIRPUR:(Parliament Times): Advisor to AJK Govt. Zia Sardar died of cardiac arrest in Islamabad on Sunday.
Funeral prayer of the departed leader, originally hailing from Hajira SUB Division of Azad Jammu Kashmir, was offered at Jammu Kashmir house in federal capital Sunday night. President AJK Sardar Masood Khan,PM AJK Raja Farooq Haider,AJK Ministers Mushtaq Minhas, Ch Muhammad Aziz ,Sardar Najeeb Naqi PTI leaders Sardar Tanvir Ilyas, Dua Zubair Sardar Mustafa PPP AJK , AKNS President and Chief Editor Kashmir Express Sardar Zahid Tabasum , Chief Editor Daily Parliament Times Javed Iqbal Ch and other large numbers of people also participated in funeral prayers at Kashmir house.
Later the body was drove to his native village Pothi Chapriyaan in Hajira Sub Division for burial in his ancestral graveyard on Monday after funeral prayer to be offered at Hajira ground at 1.00 PM the same day ~ May 10, 2021.
Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan had appointed Zia Sardar as Advisor to AJK Government. in 2019.
