Muzaffarabad: All Party’s Hurriyat Kashmiri leader Ayaz Akbar’s wife died after a long illness here on Friday.

Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali expressed deep sorrow and grief on the sad demise.

In his statement, he said that it is the state of shock when Ayaz Akbar has been imprisoned in Indian jail for two and a half years without any charge.

“Ayaz Akbar wife has been suffering from the disease since long” Ghazali maintained.

He lamented on the role of Indian government that Ayaz Akbar was deliberately kept away from his sick wife and he remained deprived to treat her in hard time.

He added that deliberate delay in her medical treatment consequently lead her to death today.

Ghazali strongly condemned the illegal arrest of Ayaz Akbar by the Indian government and stated that Ayaz Akbar and many other Kashmiris have been arrested in notorious Indian jails who resist for freedom.

“The families of these Kashmiri prisoners are living in pain and agony” he said.

He said that we all express our condolences to Ayaz Akbar and feel the same sorrow and pain in our hearts.

Ayaz Akbar is the spokesperson of the veteran Hurriyat Leader Syed Ali Shah Gillani.
