Iran and China on Thursday have accepted the terms of the 25-year cooperation pact with goodwill after the 5-years long controversial period between the two states. Previously, when Trump on his own with a grain of salt reimposed sanctions on Iran in then 2018 as well as withdrew from nuclear agreement, high skeptics emerged that after the broadened chasm, it should be forgotten about ‘Political and strategic partnership’ with the US and all other super power countries. But, the good news is that now, the two Foreign Ministers and Signatories: Wang Yi and Mohammad Javad Zarif presume that the cooperation pact is going to be supportive in filling out the large vacuoles in the relationships of two want-to-be best friends. Assuredly, the start of the interrelationship which is going about next 25-years can guarantee that the deepened friendship of the two countries will go all the way. But, do not be surprised by the agreement as one says that don’t celebrate until the questions end. Both countries show off a kind of loyalty shift towards normalized relationships, but Tehran must not treat itself with an inattention to it’s blessed resources. As China sees Iran as a long-term export partner and a source of energy to meet its increasing demand. This should be the strong nerve of Iran to throw back previous controversial negotiations. Zarif calls China “A friend in hard times” in his last speech. The position of the US in this regard after the agreement is NEUTRAL. His statement appeared fend-off. However, what can one do if two people are agreed to walk alone in the garden? Iran-China relations were at their lowest point for 5 years and both faced difficult relations with each other. Conservative Iranian must play a positive role now that China has extended a hand to them from Beijing’s flagship BRI-trillion-dollar project.
