Islamabad: The concerned authorities on Monday launched crackdowns over violating standard operating procedures designated to control covid-19 outbreak across the country.
According to details, at least 17 restaurants were sealed and more than Rs 94,000 fine was imposed on shopkeepers in Islamabad on Monday morning for violating SoPs.
Meanwhile, in Lahore, 29 marriage halls have been closed and several food points and shops have also been sealed for breaching the covid-19 SOPs.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
