Rawalpindi : Historic KRL Stadium in Rawalpindi has been renamed after former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.
In a Twitter message, former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar said he was lost for words after the “historic” KRL Stadium in Rawalpindi was named in his honour.
Shoib said that he truly have no words to thank everyone for the love and respect he has received over the years. “Humbled and honored to share that the historic KRL stadium in Rawalpindi has been renamed as Shoib Akhtar stadium. I am rarely ever lost for words but today I am!” Shoib expressed his gratitude.
