Islamabad  :   The grand Finale of inaugural ICC Test Championship will be played in South Hampton.
The ICC administration, after consultation with English Cricket Board, decided to transfer the venue from London to South Hampton. The Indian and New Zealand cricket teams will face each other in Hampshire bowl instead of home of cricket Lords.
Bio-secure bubble will be established in Hampshire bowl from 18th to 22nd of June, later this year.
The ICC Board said that Hampshire bowl has been a much safer place to play cricket during current pandemic. The nearer residence for players makes the transportation an easier task. It will help to create better bio-secure conditions and ensure the safety of players and staffs.
A press release by ICC also said that gradual lifting of Covid-19 lockdown by UK government will enable ICC to invite finite number of crowd to watch the Finale. Registration of cricket fans in this regard has been started.
