MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhmmad Farooq Haider Khan has highly commended the significant contribution of the people of Mirpur for effectively representing the whole state over the globe.
Inaugurating the state of the Art Muslim-Hand cricket Academy here on Monday, he said present government attaches highest priority to promote sports activities and steps have been taken to set up play grounds for the youth all over the state.
He said Cricket stadium Mirpur will be improved and cricket tournaments will be arranged all over Azad Kashmir to promote healthy sports activities.
He said the youth of the state after getting training from Muslim hands international cricket academy will represent Azad Kashmir in National cricket team.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan also laid the foundation stone of first ever mid land doctors burn and medical centre here on Monday, the Prime Minister was informed by Dr.Javed Raza that a modern burn medical centre will be constructed over an area of 34 kanal of land and the land for this purpose has been given by the Mirpur development authority.
The Prime Minister underlined the need for the early completion of the centre to extend medical cover to the people.
He appreciated the role of midland doctors and added that the burn centre was the dire need of the hour.
He said this centre is a shining example of the public participation which after completion will extend medical cover not only to the people of Mirpur but other districts and surrounding areas as well.
He highly commended the role of the people of Mirpur and private institutions for extending all out support to the people during natural calamity.
