MIRPUR,(Parliament Times): The Mangla-lake city of Mirpur, Azad Jammu Kashmir and adjoining areas experienced earthquake of moderate intensity Friday night. Mirpur t was shaken following the catastrophe reportedly measuring about 6.04 at the Richter Scale at 10.02 p.m on Friday.
Aftershocks of mild intensity are being frequently experienced with pause since the Sept. 24, 2019 devastating earthquake stroke Mirpur City and its adjoining areas of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. People, asleep, woke up hurriedly following the shock and rushed out of houses to open spaces to save lives. The frequent and intermittent aftershocks have SPREAD SEVERE panic in the area.
