Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Its been 29 years since Sirajuddin Farooqi bothers-in-law of Al-Umar chief Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar disappeared in forces custody. The family has been looking and demanding for their whereabouts ever since but in vain.
Kashmiri Human Rights Activist & Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Voice of Victims (JKVOV) / Jammu & Kashmir Salvation Movement (J&KSM) Altaf Ahmed Bhat has said that illegal and forceful picking up of youngster to curb their voice for the freedom of Kashmir is the favourite tactic of Indian forces.
Sirajud din Farooqi and so many innocent Kashmiris are missing for about 3 decades now, their families are mourning but no one could hear their voice, no one could tell their location, or how to recover their beloved ones.
Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar and his family has been constantly raising their voice, and struggling for the Freedom of Kashmir, but the Indian forces detained his brother Fayaz Ahmed Zargar his nephew Adil Siraj and Dawood Zaragar have been detained behind the bars by the Indian security forces to Curb the voice of this family for the freedom of Kashmir.
This is the worst form of torture Indian forces are applying on the besieged people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The families, children and wives of the missing persons suffer from psychological disorders and Indian cruel forces consider it as their success in curbing the voice and struggle for Kashmir Freedom.
While telling about the identified Mass graves Chairman JKVoV/JKSm Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that Thousands of Mass Graves have been identified by locals, while many other mass graves are unidentified yet. No one knows who has been laid down in these graves. While Wives of the disappeared persons are termed as “Half Widows” a new word introduced in the dictionary. Those half widows are waiting for their beloved husbands to return home, while children who were little are younger now but the fathers haven’t returned to their homes yet. Therefore the Human Rights Council of United Nation is being appealed for the DNA test of these Mass Graves so that the bodies in these mass graves can be identified for the satisfaction of Half Widows of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Explaining the post 5th August 2019 situations in IIOJK Bhat said that, Indian so-called democracy is intentionally destroying the future of Kashmir by allowing their security agencies to carry fake CAso’s to target Kill educated youth and arresting minors to put pressure on families to refrain from the demand of Right to Self Determination.
After the revocation of Article 370 & 35A under the Modi regime of India, Indian Security agencies have picked thousands of innocent youths primarily Students in midnight raids and no whereabouts have been given to their families. While Indian forces used COVID-19 as a smokescreen to perpetuate gross Human Rights violations, target killing youth, demolishing houses and economical breakdown of IIOJ&K.
Chairman JKVOV/JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat also appealed to the International Community, European Parliament & American Senate and International Humanitarian organizations to take constructive and decisive stance just like UK Parliamentarians started a few days ago in House of Commons, and raise the issue of disappeared persons in IIOJ&K and help recover them from Indian clutches.
