Sujawal: {Report from Jati} An event to explore and discuss different aspects of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai,s Poetry was organized by Youth Organization Jati on Sunday evening.
People from different walks of life attended the event to enhance their knowledge and deepen their understanding of Shah Latif,s poetry and the message pervaded through that.
Shedding Light on Sur Kahori-{The Chapter of Latif’s poetry that carries the message courage, valor, and constant grapple}, senior journalist and guest speaker at the event Zahid Ishaque Said that; Latif was the poet of all ages, he upskilled people to fight against evil elements of the society. Latif was a philosopher who outspread the message of Humanity and It was quite unfortunate that the young generation was unaware of Latif,s message and marvelous contributions in the field of Sindhi literature, He added. In the meantime, he also extolled the efforts of the Youth Organization for the step taken to meditate on the teachings of Sufi Poet.
Latif was the ray of hope for those who had been aimlessly wandering in the darkness; said Adil lagahri. Further, he said that Latif,s poetry was all about putting oneself on the path of constant struggle and endeavor.
A representative of Youth organization Jati, G.M Khatti said that; The young generation should view Shah Latif as a social reformist and as an ideologist who depicted human feelings through his poetry
After the conclusion of speeches, an emerging singer of Jati singer Faiz Mohammad Faiz enthralled the audience through his melodious voice
