There is a big history of conflict between Pakistan’s Sunni Muslim population and the Hazara Shia community. However, with the passage of time, due to the growing extremism in Pakistan, the process of torturing this community began rapidly. Especially in Quetta, this community is not safe at all. Here, the community faces discrimination and punishment on racial grounds. Just like other regions of Pakistan, Quetta also has several security checkpoints in the name of security, but they may not be for the attackers. In the recent incident of barbarism, 11 workers of Hazara community killed in Balochistan and the relatives have refused their burial. The Takfiri terrorists are involved in the hands of foreign agencies. Yes, The protection of life and property of the people is the first and foremost responsibility of the state. But, ISI’s claim of responsibility for the incident aims to strengthen the perception of the presence of every international terrorist organization on Pakistani soil. The situation has become as worse as Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked the participants of the ongoing sit-in against the killing of miners by the Hazara community in Balochistan to end this heart breaking protest and bury the dead and said that they should come to meet them soon. However, protesters constantly say that they would continue to protest with the dead until the prime minister arrives. Today, sit-ins across the country, including Quetta and all big and small cities of Pakistan occuring. People are condemning the incident on internet media. But, what will happen? Even before this, miners have been abducted from Soring, Marwar, Sanjdi, Machh, Harnai and Dukki. Some of them were even killed. Isn’t the Hazara community Pakistani? Do they have the right to live? This unfortunate community does not even get admissions in the university. Because, they are not citizens of Pakistan, and according to some terrorists, they are not Muslims at all.
