BAHRAIN:   Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa undertook 3-day official visit of Bahrain and met with top leadership of Bahrain.

According to ISPR on Friday he met with Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and discussed matters of mutual interests.

As per media reports , the army chief also held meetings with with Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and lauded the depth of the distinguished friendship relations between both the countries.

The Army Chief was presented with the Bahrain Order (First Class) by the Bahraini Crown Prince for making significant contributions in defense cooperation between the two countries.
The Army Chief also witnessed the closing ceremony of Pak-Bahrain joint military exercise Al-Badar-V at Sakhir Camp. He appreciated standard of training and the results attained. The Army Chief said that the exercise signifies the joint efforts of both nations against terrorism.

Bahrain’s Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi also hosted a lunch banquet in honor of General Bajwa.
