The Shia Hazara community on Monday protested along the bodies of miners who been killed in Baluchistan’s Mach coal field area. Police authorities said that the miner were about to work when armed militants kidnapped them and took them to the nearby mountains. Jatoi said six of the miner’s dead on the spot and five who were critically wounded died on the way to hospital. The Shia Hazara community protested in order to, demand justice. More or less, 2500 protesters gathered with the bodies in coffins and blocked a bypass. The protesters, said they won`t end the protest until the arrest of all assassins. The attackers first separated the miners before tying their hands and feet and took them into the hills to kill them. At least four beheaded. According to the SITE Intelligence, Sunni extremist group IS claimed the attack. Also on Monday interior minister Sheik Rashid Ahmed arrived in Quetta in order to meet the Hazara protesters and speak to the press regarding the Mach killings. Even if mines in Pakistan are notorious for underprivileged safety standards, such attacks against miners are rare. As the members of the Hazara community has been repeatedly targeted by extremist from Pakistan`s Sunni Muslim majority.
