Lahore: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that January 31st is coming and everyone will see that the resignations of the opposition will not come. The PDM is now looking for a safe passage. All the plans of PDM will flop and the next Chairman of the Senate will also be from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. All allies including PML(Q) are united and standing by the government. He was talking to Talat Naqvi, a Member of Parliament of PTI and delegations from different districts at Governor’s House, Lahore today.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the opposition has been conspiring from day one to stop the Senate elections but now they have realized that they will not succeed in their goal. He said that the PTI will succeed in the Senate elections and the Chairman of the Senate will also be from PTI. He said that after failure on every front, now the opposition is clueless about their future strategy. They are now looking for a safe passage and striving to survive politically.
Governor Punjab said that the announcement of the opposition’s long march will eventually ‘’become long’’ and these people will not be able to hold a long protest march. He said that the opposition itself does not know when it will resign from the assemblies. When their resignations come, we will see. I do not think these people will resign. Governor Punjab said that anti-state elements are conspiring to destabilize Pakistan. Everyone needs to work together for peace and stability in the country.
