Thatta: Another prominent scholar of Sindh Rasool Bux Dars passed away in a hospital of Karachi after a prolonged illness he was suffering from lung infection for some time.
The renowned literary figure born on 10 June 1953 hailed from Jhumpir, a small town of Thatta. He was a historian, story writer, and academician. He started his professional career as a primary teacher and went on to become a learning coordinator supervisor.
Different books comprising his stories were published on different occasions. His book Suhai Ji Sob gave him distinguished recognition among the literary figures of Sindh. Along with it he also wrote short plays for Sindhi tv channels.
Senator Sasui Palijo, Dr. Muhammad Ali Manjhi, Suraj Sujawali, and other known personalities have expressed deep grief on the demise of Rasool Bux Dars and called it a huge loss to Sindh.
He has left behind a widow, two sons, and a large number of his admirers to mourn his death. The acclaimed writer was laid to rest in his hometown Jhumpir, people from different segments of life attended his funeral.
