ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has said, the leadership of incumbent government is making strenuous efforts to improve governance and economy and has taken all necessary measures to achieve the objectives.
According to media reports while talking to a private news channel, he said the leadership of the ruling party is busy in addressing the issues of common man and the public rallies of Pakistan Democratic Movement and speeches of opposition leaders cannot weaken the position of ruling party.
Asad Umar said if Pakistan People’s Party resigns from assemblies the election commission will perform its duty of holding by-elections on the vacant seats.
The minister said the projects of worth Rs700 billion would be completed by the federal government to facilitate the people of Karachi.
