PARIS,(Parliament Times): The 40th foundation (anniversary) day ceremony of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran International Centre here on Suday -18th oct. The ceremony commemorated with recitation (talawat) from Quran by Hafiz Muhammad Ismail and Na’ate Rasul by Hafiz Muhammad Moazzam Abbas . President Minhaj-ul-Quran France Raja Babar Hussain presided over the function. Women Wing president Madam Shama Arshad expressed her views and spoke at length on the faculties of mind and heart of Allama Dr Tahir ul Qadri and paid rich homage to the vision of Shaykh-ul-Islam.
Expressing his views, Director Minhaj-ul-Quran Prof Hassan Mir Qadri said that the number 40 is a very special digit in Islam. He also drew the attention of the audience to the fact that today is the 40th founding day of the movement and today is the beginning of Rabi-ul-Awwal as well in Europe . He also shared some memories of October 17, 1980 with the audience.
Prof. Hassan Mir disclosed that he did not join the movement after completing his education rather he has been a participant observer of every ups and downs of the movement for 38 years. The work of 40 years is an ample proof this this struggle.. There is someone who has been and who is doing this all extraordinary job and by that he meant Allah the Almighty. Forget about who joined when , just pray for the continuation of this Movement. He said that the situations do change and firm belief does not. Do not doubt that the Movement has an apparent face, and a spiritual one too. Worldly
affairs do take place,but closeness to His teachings does change the state of mind. Only those who understand the spiritual face find the perseverance. In the end, Allama Hafiz Iqbal Azam offered special prayers for the health and well-being of Shaykh-ul-Islam.
