ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to tour New Zealand in December 2020 and January 2021 to play two Tests and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
The Test series will form part of the inaugural 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship. In August 2020, New Zealand Cricket confirmed that the tour was going ahead, and were working with their government to comply with biosecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic
According to the schedule announced by the New Zealand Cricket Board, Pakistan and New Zealand will play the first T20I will be played on December 18 at Eden Park, Auckland. The second T20I will be played at Seddon Park, Hamilton December 20 while the third T20I will be played at McLean Park, Napier on December 22.
Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui is set to host Boxing Day Test between Black Caps and Pakistan while the second Test will begin on January 3 at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
