KARACHI: The Sindh education department on Friday started considering to keep primary classes closed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic situation after reopening of the educational institutions.
According to media reports , one-month extension in reopening of primary classes is expected and the suggestion to conduct online classes from grade one to five is under consideration.
The provincial health minister has already opposed the reopening of primary classes. The education department will make final decision after receiving recommendations from the health department.
According to the previous schedule, primary classes were scheduled to reopen from September 30
