ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said either NAB or country should be run.
“ Every one knows about the reality of NAB. I am telling you reality either they should run NAB or country”, he said this while talking to media men outside Accountability Court (AC) after his appearance therein Monday.
He alleged government is pursuing the tactics of political engineering and oppressing the opposition.
He held we cannot be deterred no matter how many false cases are framed by NAB against us. Not any inquiry has been conducted against a single man of the government. Every second man has become minister, therefore, what expectations we can make from them.
“We want TV cameras should be installed inside the court so that people could come to know what are the facts. When people are facing financial woes, government is hunting opposition. News were leaked against me that I received money from Indian company. Sugar is selling at the Rs 110 per kilogram instead of Rs 53. But Chairman NAB has not uttered a word on it. He should take notice about it. Minister for Ports and Shipping is committing corruption”, he added.
This is a fact Imran Khan is a selected Prime Minister (PM). A Truth commission should be constituted to guard against recurrence of mistakes. It is time to make commitment for holding fair and free election, he remarked.
He pointed out party has advised Mian Nawaz Sharif to return on completion of his medical treatment. Undergoing treatment is his right. He will appear in the courts following the completion of his treatment. PM-N leadership has and will never be browbeaten by false cases .
