Rawalpindi:    In a bid to control price hike, the Rawalpindi district administration has decided to establish 3 new vegetable markets.

According to the Media Reports the district market committee has approved the project.

These markets would be established at the entry point of Rawalpindi included Rawat, Taxila and Muree.

The district committee has liked the system of salaries and pensions with banks to prevent ghost employees from reaping benefit.

The market committee has also approved updating of price list on websites and social to keep people updated about the prices of daily-use items on regular basis.

In media report the district committee chairman Imtiaz Ahmad said setting up new fruit and vegetable markets would help the farmers and help control price hike.

He added that the all ways off corruption in the market committee have been blocked, while the contract for issuance of the Rates list would be auctioned in over Rs.0.5 million.

He said that the project would create 300 new jobs adding the revenue of the district government.
