ISLAMABAD: NAB has filed reply in Accountability Court (AC) on freezing Asif Zardari home in Clifton in fake accounts case.
NAB has submitted reply in the court in regard to suspicious transaction of Rs 8 billion.
In the reply filed by NAB it has been said there are solid evidences that Asif Zardari has purchased this home at Clifton through corruption. Asif Zardari steno paid the money for purchase of this home. A sum of Rs 150 million was paid from bank account of steno of Asif Ali Zardari to purchase this home.
NAB has said Asif Ali Zardari has failed in providing any evidence in support of purchasing this home. The stenographer undertook 104 foreign trips along with Asif Ali Zardari..
The questionnaire was given to Asif Ali Zardari about his home but he gave no reply. Efforts were made to include stenographer Mushtaq in the investigation but he fled.
NAB has requested the court to freeze Asif Zardari home at Clifton.
