MIRPUR (AJK) : Strongly condemning the increased pre-planned massacre of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian occupation forces in the Indian held Jammu Kashmir state under the bogey of fake encounters and false military operations against the freedom loving people of the disputed Himalayan state, UK-based Global Pakistan and Kashmir Supreme Council has called upon the international community and the United Nations in particular to immediately move for ensuring the safety and security of the population of the internationally-acknowledged disputed occupied Jammu Kashmir state.

Chairing an extra-ordinary emergent meeting of the organization at its head office in London on Tuesday Kashmir-origin Chairman of the forum Raja Sikander Khan vehemently condemned the fresh mass killing of 13 innocent Kashmiri youth besides injuring of a large number of others in fake military operations against the Kashmiris in the forward districts of Poonch and Rajouri in occupied Jammu Kashmir on Monday, says a message reaching and released to the media here Tuesday.

Khan continued that the increased genocide of the people of Jammu Kashmir in the disputed Indian occupied territory was the eye opener for the international human rights organizations and the peace-loving civilized global community claiming to be the champions of the security and safety of the human rights and emergence of peace in the internationally-acknowledged conflict zones the world over including the Himalayan state of Jammu & Kashmir where people have launched struggle for the achievement of their birth rights through liberation of the motherland from Indian subjugation for the last 72 years under the spirit of the UN resolutions on Jammu Kashmir issue, he added.

Expressing grave concern over the frequent violations of the line of control by Indian occupational forces from across the LoC targeting the civilian populous areas of Azad Jammu Kashmir along the line of control and the fast deteriorating political and human rights in the Indian occupied territory of Kashmir Raja Sikander Khan said that rising tide of premeditated and pre-planned violence against Kashmiris by Indian occupying forces was tantamount to war crimes.

The Chairman of Global Pakistan and Kashmir Supreme Council Lit was quite unfortunate that Kashmiris were being beaten up, tortured, humiliated and harassed in the army camps that have been setup in every locality. “Targeted killing of educated youth have become a new norm for trigger happy forces in the restive region”, he said. Terming it premeditated and politically motivated violence perpetuated by the Indian state against hapless Kashmiris he said that Indian forces were involved in war crimes in the disputed occupied territory.

Citing recent media reports landing from IOJK, Sikander said that news reports spoke of the fact tht South Kashmir’s Pulwama district alone, at least 105 homes were destroyed during gunfights and search operations between 2015 and March 2018. He said that during its vicious operation at Nasrullahpora village of district Budgam, the Indian occupying armed forces barged into houses and destroyed household items besides plundering a number of shops. He said that 163 vehicles and more than 42 buildings were damaged after drunken soldiers of Indian army went berserk in the village

“This policy of looting and plundering he said was a deliberate attempt to crush Kashmiris economically”, he said that these spine chilling incidents of violence serve as an eye opener for the world community.

Khan said that the world community must shun its policy of indifference towards Kashmir and stop India from committing grave human rights violations against Kashmiris, who he said have never accepted India’s forcible occupation of their motherland.

Terming right to self-determination as an inalienable right of the people of Jammu & Kashmir, Raja Sikander Khan said that no amount of violence by the Indian state can deter Jammu Kashmir people living either side of the LoC and rest of the world including the United Kingdom from pursuing their collective cause for which they have rendered great sacrifices – which would continue till the achievement of the ultimate goal of freedom of the motherland from long Indian slavery.

He called upon the global community to discharge its moral responsibilities in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute that has been the root cause and consequence of tension in the region, the message concluded.
