LAHORE: The Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that train operations can resume on a 24-hour notice period whenever Prime Minister Imran Khan gives the go-ahead.
According to media reports while speaking at a press conference in Lahore, the Railway Minister said that 540 train coaches have been readied following standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the government. He added that staff has been trained to minimise the risk of spreading the virus.
Sheikh Rashid said that top priority would be given to those people who had booked tickets earlier.
