Letter to the Editor
Nurses day is celebrated all over the world on 12th May every year to mark the birth anniversary of Florescence nightingale who is founder of modern nursing. This day is celebrated to pay tribute to all those unsung heros for their tireless efforts and remarkable contribution serving humanity. Nurses are considered as a stone of health care Industry. There is not any safe environment for them in hospitals and consequently it leads to harassment cases and it discourages future aspirants as well. It is no exaggeration to say that nursing is a noble profession. They deserve equal praise after doctors owning to their services for humanity. I hereby urge government to launch new initiatives for health workers , increase their pay and and ensure their safety. It is high time to provide them modern equipments to better tackle today’s health care problems because this war (Covid-19) cannot be fought without these national heroes whose services will be written in history.
