Taftan:     Pakistan has reopened Taftan border with Iran for trade activities after 14 days.
The government of Pakistan while taking safety measures against corona virus closed the Pak-Iran border in district Taftan Balouchistan. The Irani visitors movement to Pakistan was earlier suspended but now they are permitted to enter.
The Levis authorities confirmed that subsequent to 14 days trade activities have been restored at Pak-Iran border at Taftan . The local administration informed movement of trailers laden with goods has started following the restoration of trade activities. .
It is pertinent to mention the Irani visitors who came to Pakistan through Taftan border are being kept in the quarantine in Pakistan House where the number of such visitors has crossed 3000. Visitors have been shifted to Town Hall being Pakistan House Jam -packed. .
On the other hand the cases of corona virus have been confirmed in Afghanistan as well, therefore the Pak-Afghan border at Chaman is closed since 6 days and the two sided transportation has been suspended on Bab-e-Dosti.
The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) said the Pak-Afghan border at Chaman is likely to reopen on Sunday, whereas the people coming from Afghanistan will be scanned accordingly.
