Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times): Peoples National Alliance (PNA) protest was dispersed by district administration and Police from Upper Adda on Tuesday. PNA protestors were lathicharged by Police when they tried to cross the barricades in front of University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir at CMH road.

According to hospital sources, more than 7 people were injured during baton and stone fight between Police and protestors. Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad Badar Munir said that they were not allowed to go AJK assembly, however we allowed them to go till press club on Bank road but when we opened the way they started shouting loudly and some among them started throwing stones on Police. “Some of them didn’t want to remain peaceful even they didn’t obey their own leaders and no one is allowed to challenge the writ of the state” DC Muzaffarabad added.

In a press conference addressed by PNA leadership, they demanded to conduct to judicial inquiry on the incident took place. Chairman PNA, Raja Zulfiqar said that we will come again, “we have decided to conduct our protest procession on 24th October, the government of AJK is not fully authorized and we will endeavor to make it constitutional assembly.”
