Muzaffarabad: The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has decided to shut down primary schools with less than 25 students. The notification in this regard has been issued by Elementary and Secondary Education department of the government of Azad Jamlmu and Kashmir.

The notification says that the government will not provide teachers to those primary school, which have less than 25 students. These schools can rather be used as community centers in localities in which they are situated. The notification adds that those schools which have students between 25 and 49 will be provided with only one teacher.
