ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has held a telephonic conversation with Icelandic Foreign Minister Gudlaugur Thor Thordarson to apprise him about intense prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir.
Mr Qureshi told him that India has been destabilising the peace of entire South Asian region using oppression.
The minister said the International community should play its role “at this peak time” to save innocent Kashmiris from Indian barbarism and human rights’ violations in the region.
He said International media and human rights’ organisations have been exposing Indian atrocities.
Mr Thordarson expressed “serious concern” over human rights’ violations in occupied Kashmir and emphasised on the need to peacefully resolve issues.
