Rawalpindi: A rally organized by Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Pakistan was held here on Friday to express solidarity with the besieged people of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The rally taken out from RCB office Sadar was led by RCB executive officer Faisal Munir Watoo and attended by others including additional executive officer Faheem Ali, Yousuf Gill, Businessmen Secretary General Zafar Qadri, Secretary President Sheikh Hafeez, Secretary Cantonment Board Qaiser Mehmood, Public Health Officer Waris Bhatti and other employees of the Cantonment Board.
Besides the RCB employees, a large number of shopkeepers and people hailing from different walks of life participated in the rally. Expressing their solidarity with the Kashmiri people the participants raised high pitched slogans in favour of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and against the India’s naked aggression in the occupied Kashmir.
They also demanded the international community to play its role to end the inhuman clampdown on Kashmir and to stop human rights violations committed by the Indian occupation troops.
At the end of the rally, special prayers were made for the freedom of occupied Kashmir, stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
