Muzaffarabad: Protest Procession followed by a rally was staged under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir here on Friday.

People were chanting slogans against Indian atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) besides expressing full zeal for Kashmir struggle movement till freedom.

Protestors including children and elders were holding banners and placards stated Anti Indian and pro freedom slogans. The main banner stated, “Go India GO Back”.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that India cannot stop our resistance for freedom, “our resistance is persistent till freedom, those who are on right path will finally succeed” Uzair Ahmed reiterated.

He said that people in IOK are suffering in curfew for the last 4 weeks and masses are in armed forces siege, “religious, political and human rights violations are observed every day and Kashmiri are looking at global communities to take stern notice” Ghazali maintained.

He added that plebiscite according to United Nations resolutions is inevitable in such deteriorating situation.

Shaukat Javed Mir said that people here in Azad Kashmir are worrisome for their brethren in IOK, “UN must intervene to stop Indian aggression” he appealed to UN.

People in the rally demanded global communities, international human rights organizations, and other International Government Organizations to take stern notice of human rights violations in IOK and play their role for the provision of food and medicines as masses are in constant curfew and their movement is prohibited by Indian Armed forces.

Abu Sayyaf, Syed Shabbir Hussain Bukhari, Vice Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Usman Ali Hashim, Muhammad Ismail Mir, Hamza Shaheen, Chaudhary Muhammad Ismail, Haji Rungail Butt and others also addressed on the occasion.
