Muzaffarabad:(Parliament Times) Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PPP AJK) President Chaudhary Latif Akbar condemned the abrogation of 35-A in section 370.

In a statement issued here on Monday, President PPP AJK said that India tried to change the demographic condition of Jammu and Kashmir, “these are open violations of United Nations (UN) security council resolutions” Latif Akbar stated.

India cannot divide the identity of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, “According to UN resolutions, none of any administered country can change the demography of Jammu and Kashmir” Akbar said.

He reiterated that such kind of tactics by incumbent government of India cannot affect the status of conflict area, “the status of Kashmir shall remain the same and undivided until plebiscite” he said.

He said that Article 35-A of section 370 gives conditional administration to Indian government on Jammu and Kashmir, however after the abrogation of 35-A, it became clear to world that India has occupied Jammu and Kashmir by force.

“India illegally occupied Kashmir and it is now clear as she tried to make this conflict state as its union” he added.

Chaudhary Latif Akbar demanded Government of Pakistan to take immediate measures on this deteriorating situation.

He asked to raise this issue in security council of UN besides apprising other countries including America, Russia, China, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran and other European countries to find a permanent solution of Kashmir issue.
