Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The 1st meeting of AKDWP for FY 2019-20 was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the ACS (Dev.) wherein the representatives of Federal Government, Secretaries of the respective line departments and officials of P&DD participated.
In the meeting 16 projects costing over Rs. 1.9 billion were discussed. The agenda included the significant projects of Landslide Control, Management and Mitigation along Major Roads in AJK, Water Supply Schemes for two cities ie. Muzaffarabad and Kotli along with Tehsil Chaksawari and Construction of Civil Judge Court and Judicial Lock-up at Nakyal District Kotli. Schemes for the provision of Basic Amenities in four major cities of AJ&K ie. Pallandari, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot and Kahutta were also deliberated upon by the forum. Similarly the vital projects of Captive Breeding of Sports Species in District Mirpur and Backyard Poultry Production for Women in AJ&K were also considered by the forum.
