Muzaffarabad:(Parliament Times) Director General Information of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Azhar Iqbal promoted to the 20th grade for his excellent performance in service. Raja Azhar Iqbal served as Director Public Relations in the previous government.
On 1st July 2016, he was given charge of Director General (DG) Information.
As a DG Information, Raja Azhar played a commanding role in allocating payments to newspapers and starting recovery campaign for advertisement of newspapers of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He also took swift steps towards extending Media Development Scheme and providing facilities to electronic and print media of AJK.
